CAN YOU HEAR ME NOW?!
Scottrade, this blog is dedicated to you.
I don’t know about you, but commercials that are played LOUDER than the television show you are watching, really irritate the hell out of me. And I know I am not alone, at least 3 times a day (usually late at night) my living room is bombarded with a sonic boom of commercialized crap for products or services that I would not ordinarily use. Do marketing firms really want to attract that type of negative attention to their clients or did the sound board operator royally screw up? I have been making a mental list of products that I will NEVER purchase simply because of their ridiculously loud commercials interrupting my viewing pleasure. Hey, Charles Schwab, need a new customer?

My husband used to be a “sound board operator” (ok, it’s actually called Master Control, but still) and no, he’s not the one messing up. The commercials DO air at a louder volume… which is why when he watches TV at home he puts the TV on mute the second the commercials air. I’m surprised that it’s only 3 times a day you experience these loud commercials. Seems to me it’s EVERY commercial break and, yes, it’s beyond annoying.
